Thanks to an expansion of ESA eligibility in Arizona, your student is likely able to attend our accredited online project-based learning academy at no cost to you. Your student can enjoy all the benefits of Go PBL Academy for free once your Empowerment Scholarship Account is approved!

To ensure your student's Go PBL Academy expenses are covered in full, you must apply for an ESA with the State of Arizona. The State now provides public funding to expand educational opportunities for all students outside of the public school system. These funds can be used for a wide variety of educational expenses, including full tuition for online private schools such as Go PBL Academy.

Using Your Arizona ESA at Go PBL Academy

Arizona's Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) puts your child's share of state education funding in your hands. Here is what the award is worth by grade level, and exactly how the payment works — so you know what to expect before you talk to anyone.

What your ESA award covers

Your award depends on your child's grade level. These are the 2026–27 base amounts for a student without a disability designation:

Award figures verified against Arizona Department of Education guidance on July 27, 2026. Students with an IEP or 504 plan may qualify for substantially more.
Grade level 2026–27 ESA award
Grades 1–8 $7,247
Grades 9–12 $8,071

Anything left over stays yours to spend

ESA funds you don't spend on tuition remain in your account for other state-approved education expenses — curriculum and textbooks, tutoring, testing fees, and approved technology. Unused funds roll over year to year while your child remains eligible.

Go PBL Academy enrolls grades 3–12. One-time enrollment fee: $300. For current tuition, ask our enrollment team — we'll send you a written quote you can compare against your award letter.
